The Dayton Ballet School
Founded in 1927, Dayton Ballet School was the first school for dance education in this region and remains the only school associated with a professional company. The Dayton Performing Arts Alliance
The Dayton Ballet is part of the larger Dayton Performing Arts Alliance, which also includes the Dayton Philharmonic and Dayton Opera. This collaboration is the first in the country, and has set a model for how performing arts organizations can band together to support each other.
